Once again, the festivals of the madmen are over. We could defend our deeper meaning against them. To capitulate before the test means: to free oneself from the rules of other people. “Aren’t you ashamed. You aren’t ashamed of anything! You are far too stubborn.” One is born free and again and again they try to offer us crutches as if we needed them. These crutches are sad gifts, because our caregivers, who supposedly mean well with us, don’t realize that these crutches take away the possibility to realize our given potential in this life. To defend our freedom means to be true to ourselves and not to put the bird of our heart in a cage. Every day we see situations where we have to make a decision. Are we ready to duck and give up our dignity before the other people who expect us to fit into their plans. To be free is to be true to ourselves.

Defend the heart’s desire

What we feel within us is denied and belittled by the others. But we are certain that it is of value. And it is of more value than what is usually measured as value in the world. Who can sell us a unique story and an individual destiny? The presumptuous world offers protection and security. But deep in our soul we long for the freedom that is to be found in breaking out of the structure, because that is where the world of the beloved subject is. We feel disconnected from the pain of compulsive attachments, because we have made a free decision which we want to defend, because it corresponds to our heart’s desire. The spectacle of human beings is confused and pays no further attention to us, because it cannot understand the value.

Freedom through stability

We feel elevated at the zenith of a realization or a wisdom. This stability enables us to feel new freedom in our actions, because we are standing on a base that is indestructible. We celebrate this freedom because such stability is beautiful and we feel a sense of sharing this beauty with the world. With our ability we can walk on the forces of nature without being hurt by them. We learn that we can rely on our ability because it has been proven to work. An albatross looks bizarre on land, but when we see him in his element, we recognize him as a king of the air. In a stupid world, it is more important to stigmatize (alleged) weaknesses than to emphasize and promote the strengths of an individual.
